The Implem xHD-7 has been carried for almost a year, and it is a reliable device. Its functions, camera, and everything else have been surprisingly impressive. Coming from an X5L Gen 2, it was a good upgrade. Its small size is great, and it works when needed. Zeroing the laser can be a bit of a hassle at first, but it is manageable, though it could be easier. The buttons are easy to reach and reliable, even if a lever would be better. Changing settings is simple. A simpler way to change modes and decide when the camera records without having to push buttons would be preferred. Once users are used to them, they are easy to use and a real lifesaver, worth every penny. The light is bright and covers a wide area. Overall, it’s a great and dependable product. Since it’s being used by law enforcement and everyone’s going for the X5L Gen 3, it’s a solid choice. It is one of the best, if not the best, laser/light combo out there, especially with its high-quality camera and microphone with INSTANT-ON technology.
